Well hello there Fashionistas! Today it is all about the base: the prime, correct, conceal, contour and bronze, before we even start on the rest of our make up!
I certainly do not do all these steps everyday, but when you have the time or the occasion, have a go at this. As you can see in the video, I used a lot less foundation because I prepared the base and made it fairly even.
Innoxa sent me these 3 nifty little palettes consisting of:
The Prime, Colour and Correct Palette
What they say:
Instantly prime, cover and correct your skin with this palette. Featuring a primer to blur lines and enlarged pores, two colour correctors to cancel redness or conceal dark circles, and two concealers to conceal imperfections or areas of concern.
My thoughts:
The primer is quite thick and waxy, I used it to for my open pores on my nose, chin and forehead and it worked really well. I did find I needed another primer to use on the rest of my face. All the colours are highly pigmented and a little goes a long way. I like this little palette a lot.
What they say:
This palette is specifically designed to give you a visible face lift. Featuring three universally flattering shades including a contour powder to create definition and sculpt the face, a golden cream highlighter to instantly illuminate the high points of the face, and a sheer cream blush to create a youthful flush.
My thoughts:
The contour shade is a little light on my skin but is definitely build able. I love the cream blush, which is a gorgeous flush colour and probably should have taken some more time to blend it with my fingers. Not sure how this would go on someone with a lighter complexion than me. The cream highlighter is divine, and could even be more POPPING using a highlighter powder over the top (if you like that look!). By using this palette it is possible to sculpt and make your cheekbones look a little higher therefor the illusion of a “facelift”.
What they say:
This universally flattering palette allows you sculpt and define the contours of your face to give you a youthful complexion. This palette includes a bronzer to enhance your cheekbones with a subtle shimmer, a contour shade to define the face, and a highlighter to illuminate the high points of the face.
My thoughts:
The contour colour is a little light for me, but then I am quite dark. Again, it is quite build able and blend able. The bronzer is lovely, with a soft shimmer to create a bronze, sun kissed look. The highlighter is a powder for a more subtle pop.
Check out my video to see how I use all three palettes. I am no professional make up artist (anymore) but I love wearing make up and very rarely go without!
Overall these handy little palettes are good value for money (RRP $24.95), because every shade is usable. The creams are highly pigmented so a little does go a long way and the powders are soft and easily blend able. If I had to be super critical, the powders are a very powdery, if that makes sense, and leave a lot on the brush. Be careful of this, you need to tap off the excess or blow the brush before applying it to the skin.
Thanks Innoxa for sending me these to trial! I love them and they will be on high rotation for sure!

I agree, I think I am addicted to watching tutorials x
I could watch you do your makeup all day babe ♥ The palettes are gorgeous, and what you did with them is perfect. That pink blush…sigh… ♥
Thank you for watching! I love a good cream blush. Takes a bit longer to blend but the effect is so nice
The colour correcting one looks interesting. I’m so fair so most face palettes are useless to me as I just look like a clown.

Oh that must be hard! I guess the green colour would for you on redness, but the concealers wouldn’t work! x
That’s so good that they have so many different palettes! I tried the original conceal and highlight palette and was quite impressed with the quality.
I have that palette too! I think the new prime, correct and conceal palette is more versatile
You look amazing! I love the look of the colour correcting palette, it looks like it really helps to minimise darkness and redness!
They are creamy and pigmented enough to work well x
