Facing serious family difficulties in 1985, Cursillo members in Marg’s parish reached out to her with love and support. Since then, Cursillo has become an anchor in her faith life while leading her three adult children to remain committed to their Catholic faith.
Betty describes how Cursillo was life-changing from day one. “I was ripe for change!” she exclaims, ready to take a deeper step in her faith. She also discovered a new world of friends she says, “I know I can count on.”
Anne says, “Before Cursillo, I felt I was close to God. I prayed a lot and I’ve always been a faithful Catholic. I didn’t realize actually, that there was something missing in my life….which is silly because we always can use more of God and of Jesus’ love…”
On Saturday night, I said, ‘Okay God, I quit. I’m yours.’ I went to bed and got up the next morning and I just felt all different.
